Founder of Sacred Juniper Ayurvedic Clinic

Ayurvedic Practitioner • Nurse • Women’s Guide Through Transitions & Transformations

For more than two decades, my work lived in the world of trauma, emergency medicine, and child fatality review. I’ve stood inside the hardest moments a family can experience, holding steady through grief, crisis, and the realities that shape a human life. I know, intimately, how the body protects itself. I know what stress, shock, and chronic overwhelm do to the nervous system. And I know what happens when women carry more than their bodies were meant to hold.

As I entered perimenopause, everything I understood about my body suddenly shifted. My cycle stopped following the map I had relied on for years. My emotional tides changed without warning. Inflammation, exhaustion, and a disconnection from myself became my new normal. One day, I looked at my reflection and didn’t recognize the woman staring back.

That moment became my turning point, and the beginning of Sacred Juniper.

I realized that although I had spent a lifetime caring for others, I had never learned how to care for myself at the deepest level. I knew physiology, trauma, systems, and structure, but I didn’t know me.

  • Not my doshas.

  • Not my nervous system.

  • Not the feminine rhythms I had been taught to override.

  • Not the emotional patterns I had carried for decades.

So I began the work.

  • Ayurveda became the language for everything my intuition already knew.

  • Yoga brought me back into my breath.

  • Therapy gave me access to the wounds beneath my resilience.

  • Ritual reconnected me to my feminine body.

  • Travel, solitude, sisterhood, and study reminded me of who I was before the world told me who to be.

    • Over time, I came home to myself, and with that homecoming came the birth of my clinic.

The Heart of My Work

Sacred Juniper exists for women who find themselves in the liminal spaces of life:

  • perimenopause

  • burnout

  • grief

  • reinvention

  • overwhelm

  • emotional unraveling

  • nervous system dysregulation

    • and the quiet transformations that ask us to rise.

I help women understand their bodies through:

Ayurvedic assessment & lifestyle guidance

Nervous system education & regulation tools

Lymphatic and energetic bodywork

Marma therapy and sacred oils

Cycle awareness & emotional mapping

Seasonal practices, rituals, and nourishment

My approach blends the steadiness of nursing, the depth of Ayurveda, the spirituality of yoga, and the lived wisdom of my own healing.

My Mission

I believe women deserve to understand their bodies.

I believe healing is not about perfection but about remembering.

And I believe every woman holds an inner intelligence that, when supported, can guide her back home to herself.

Sacred Juniper is the return I never expected:

  • a place where science, spirit, intuition, and lived experience meet.

  • a place where women rise not because they are fixed, but because they are finally seen.

If you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or in a season of transition, I’m here to walk with you.

Not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who has done the work, lived the unraveling, and risen from it with the medicine I now offer.

Welcome to Sacred Juniper. Welcome home to yourself.

Ayurveda: A Quick Guide to Nature's Healing Wisdom

Ayurveda, often called "the science of life," is an ancient healing system that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Rooted in the belief that health is a dynamic balance between body, mind, spirit, and environment, Ayurveda offers timeless wisdom for achieving wellness in modern life. This guide will introduce you to the essentials of Ayurveda and how it can support your journey to balance and vitality.

Ayurveda is both a philosophy and a practical system of health. It views each person as a unique combination of energies derived from the five elements: Ether (space), Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. These elements combine to form three fundamental energies, or doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

  • Vata (Air + Ether): The energy of movement, associated with creativity, flexibility, and vitality.

  • Pitta (Fire + Water): The energy of transformation, governing digestion, metabolism, and intellect.

  • Kapha (Earth + Water): The energy of stability, linked to strength, structure, and nourishment.

Your unique combination of these doshas, known as your Prakriti, determines your physical and mental characteristics, as well as your tendencies toward certain health conditions.

In a world of constant stimulation and stress, Ayurveda reminds us to slow down, listen to our bodies, and reconnect with nature. Its wisdom can help you cultivate resilience, improve well-being, and create a lifestyle that feels harmonious and sustainable.

Ayurveda is more than a health system; it’s a way of understanding yourself and the world around you. By embracing its principles, you can unlock the power of nature’s rhythms to live a healthier, more balanced life. Are you ready to begin your journey?
